Afrostyles Hair Salon – Booking Policy

Afrostyles Hair Salon is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all clients. The following policies outline our booking procedures, responsibilities, and expectations.

 

1. Bookings
  1. Online & Phone Bookings

    • Clients can book appointments online via our website at afrostyles.net.au or by calling the salon on +61 447 079 553.

    • Online bookings are confirmed once payment is received or unless otherwise negotiated.

  2. Extended Services

    • Services expected to take longer than 4 hours must be booked via phone or in person. This allows consultation to determine requirements, staff allocation, and preparation.

  3. Service Selection & Changes

    • Once a service or style selection is made and booked, it cannot be changed within 48 hours of the appointment.

    • Changes outside of this window are subject to staff availability.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  1. Cancellation Notice

    • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for standard appointments.

    • For extended services (over 4 hours), a 48-hour notice is required.

  2. Late Cancellations & No-Shows

    • Appointments cancelled without proper notice (as mentioned above) may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service.

    • No-shows (failure to attend the appointment) may result in the client being charged the full amount of the booked service.

  3. Rescheduling

    • Rescheduling within the notice period is accepted. We will make every effort to accommodate preferred dates and times.

 

3. Salon Etiquette & Respect
  1. Staff & Property

    • Clients are expected to treat all salon staff with respect and courtesy.

    • Aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in service refusal.

    • Clients are responsible for any damage caused to salon property during their visit.

  2. Personal Belongings

    • Though our salon is a safe space, please keep personal belongings with you. Afrostyles Hair Salon is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

 

4. Liability & Safety
  1. Client Responsibility

    • Clients must disclose any allergies, scalp conditions, or health issues that may affect the service.

    • Afrostyles Hair Salon is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by undisclosed conditions, products, or pre-existing hair treatments.

  2. Service Limitations

    • While we aim to achieve the desired style, results may vary depending on hair type, length, texture, and previous chemical treatments.

 

5. Payments & Deposits
  1. Payment Methods

    • Payment is accepted via card, EFTPOS, cash, or approved online payment methods (including bank transfer or via the online booking page).

  2. Deposits

    • Certain services (e.g., high-demand stylists, extended bookings, or intricate styling) may require a deposit to secure the appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, except if the appointment is cancelled within the cancellation notice period.

 

6. Loyalty Program: “Get 25% Off Your 4th Style”
  1. Eligibility

    • Clients receive 25% off their 4th paid style. Services must be fully paid at each previous appointment to qualify.

  2. Redemption Rules

    • The 25% discount applies only to the 4th style booked under the same client account.

    • The offer cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or gift cards unless specified.

  3. Booking & Cancellation

    • Loyalty appointments are subject to the same booking, cancellation, and rescheduling policies as standard services.

    • Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the loyalty discount.

  4. Non-Transferable

    • The discount is personal and non-transferable.

 

7. Privacy & Online Bookings

  1. Online Booking Security

    • All online booking information is securely stored and will only be used for appointment management and marketing with consent.

  2. Data Accuracy

    • Clients must provide accurate contact information. Afrostyles are not liable for missed communications due to incorrect client details.

 

8. Additional Policies

  • Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability, but priority is given to booked appointments.

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Afrostyles Hair Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these policies.
